Paprika Spiced Chicken Wings

This recipe is an old favourite that I hadn’t made in ages until recently. There is something about eating with your hands around the table that is so fun. This is a great family meal and so easy to make heaps of if you are entertaining. My sister topped hers with a dollop of Greek yogurt and I highly recommend you do the same, it was a game changer! I hope you give this one a go!


RECIPE (serves 4)



1 kg chicken wings

2 tbsp smoked paprika

1 tsp granulated garlic

1 tbsp dried oregano

1 tbsp pink Himalayan salt

1/2 cup almond meal

Zest and juice of one lemon

1/3 cup olive oil



  1. Preheat oven to 180C.

  2. Place all the ingredients except for the chicken into a bowl and stir together.

  3. Add the chicken and stir until all of it is coated in the marinade.

  4. Put the chicken in a nonstick baking tray and bake for 40 minutes. Keep an eye on it and turn the tray regularly if you feel they are getting too much colour.


TIP: You can prepare this all in the tray and leave in the fridge overnight so it is ready to go in the oven for dinner the following day.
