Breakfast Chocolate Mousse

When I have uni and work early in the morning I love having something I can quickly get out of the fridge and bring along with me. This has been my go to for the last few months and so many people have asked me to share the recipe. This is super delicious and almost tastes like having dessert for breakfast. Personally I love dark chocolate so I don’t add in the maple syrup but if you like things a little bit sweeter then definitely add it in. Have fun with the toppings, it would delicious with dates, almond butter and banana on top too! I hope you try this one out! If you do make it, please send me a picture because I would LOVE to see!


Recipe (Serves 1)



2 tbsp protein powder (I use Tropeaka Salted Caramel)

1.5 tbsp cacao

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp psyllium husk

2 tbsp coconut yogurt

¾ cup water

1 tsp maple syrup (optional)


To top:

Mixed berries, cacao nibs and granola



  1. In a small bowl or container mix together the protein powder, cacao, chia seeds and psyllium husk.

  2. Add in the coconut yogurt, maple syrup and water. Mix until well combined.

  3. Top with berries, cacao nibs and granola.

  4. Cover and keep in the fridge overnight.
