This recipe came about from a classic thought pattern of mine, "I have so many ripe bananas and need to do something with them." I have been craving something sweet so I thought dates was the obvious choice here! These honestly are so so delicious and I just had to share the recipe with you! It would also work well with chocolate chips or raisins in place of the dates.
This recipe is super simple and can be made with ingredients you might already have available to you in your own home. I love making dips and keeping them in the fridge to have as a delicious addition to salads and a great snack.
I wasn’t even going to put this up as a “recipe” but recently I have had a few requests for a simple post about this! This snack was inspired by my mum who always loves to have a salty snack handy on the couch. This is a great way to use up the nuts you might already have lying around and is also a fantastic way of limiting salt intake.
This recipe came about when I saw a few really overripe bananas sitting in my pantry. I contemplated freezing them but thought how wonderful the house would smell if I did some baking. These are so easy to make and from what my family and friends have said “so delicious.”
This is another recipe that has been inspired by my dad. Dad has always been a lover of Jaffa and it made so much sense to make something like this on his birthday weekend. I love preparing snacks on the weekend to have on hand during the week.
When I was going through my nut “allergy” phase I needed some kind of energy ball I could have that didn’t have nuts. It occurred to me that something of that nature was hard to come by so I decided to make one up myself.
This is my brothers new favourite bar and it has been requested since the first time I made it. These are a fantastic on the go snack and make for a beautiful addition to a bowl of coconut yogurt with fresh berries.
It is Easter times which means I just had to upload a fun Easter recipe! Bruno and I got busy on the weekend making Hot Cross Buns and we are so happy with how they came out. This was our second year making them and we can confirm that this year was much more of a success!
A few weeks ago I had an overwhelming craving for oat and raisin cookies. I wanted them to be chewy, sweet and just delicious. I was so happy with how these came out and was absolutely delighted to share them with my friends and colleagues.
These taste so delicious and have such a festive feel to them. They are perfect as an edible gift for your loved ones and make for a great on the go snack when running around at this crazy and amazing time of the year.
I am so excited to be sharing recipe number three for my mini Christmas series. Everyone really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies I made a couple of weeks ago so I wanted to recreate something a bit more festive that you could share with your friends and family.
With Christmas just a few short weeks away I want to share some recipes that I think would be perfect in the lead up to the holiday season! Every year I make heaps of different little desserts and put together little boxes of goodies for the people close to me. This is definitely going to be a welcome addition to this year’s box.
Oh my gosh you need to try these ones out! The batter actually tastes like peanut butter M&Ms (a childhood favourite). These are so easy to put together and are a crowd favourite…the only downside is that when you live in a house with five people these kinds of things don’t last very long.
So there is definitely no denying that I have a peanut butter and chocolate obsession! Last week at work my friend brought us these little goodies and they were so amazing and delicious that I just had to share it with you.
This recipe was designed specifically for my dad. He has a massive obsession with peanut butter so I thought I would come up with a dessert I know he would love. These little beauties don’t last very long so if you want your own little stash make sure you hide it!
These treats are perfect post workout or as a little sweet treat after dinner or when you feel the afternoon slump start kicking in. I highly recommend making these ones, they are amazing and Bruno's new favourite!
There are no words to describe to you just how delicious these little beauties are! My friend gave me the recipe and I just added a little twist to it. I am so excited for you to give these a go, trust me you will be licking the bowl.
I was so excited when my godmother sent me the recipe for her Nutella tarts! These are so rich and decadent and the perfect treat to share with your family on Mother’s Day. I really hope you give these ones a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Safe to say these are one of the most addictive and incredible treats to have in your freezer. I have also included a recipe for some chocolate bark so that nothing goes to waste. I really hope you try these ones out, they are AMAZING!
I always get a bit of a sugar craving in the afternoon and, like my nonna, love something a bit sweet with my coffee. I wanted to create a muffin that can be prepared early on the week that will keep for a few days (if they last).
This is one of the first sweet, healthy and nutritious treats I ever made. They are a crowd favourite and last for a week in the fridge (if they make it a week). They are the perfect snack for on the go or even just as a little sweet treat after dinner.
